James Bond Motorcycle - Similar to Street Hawk
Years ago I remembered seeing a scene in a James Bond film where he drove a black motorcycle with gadgets that reminded me of Street Hawk, but I could never find what that was. Turns out it was from Never Say Never Again, here's the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt8MVFYY1OI&feature=youtube_gd...

Re: Another Street Hawk model
Yeah, been real busy with life, so all hobby stuff got shelved for awhile.
1/24 scale is tiny for a motorcycle. I've seen 1/12 scale a few times. I'm wondering if that's the scale the really detailed one was done in.

Re: My streethawk toy

Wow!
Totally impressed with this! This is now the difinitive 1:18 scale model of Street Hawk, in my book! Almost makes me want to give up trying to make my own. I hope to make a 1:18 scale pilot bike someday, however even if I do I doubt it will hold a candle to the job you did here!

Re: Another Street Hawk model
Hey Jon, how did you happen to stumble on that? If the builder is unknown, where did it come from?
Any idea what scale it is in?
I'm in the early stages of working up a 1:18 scale pilot bike, though kinda stumped finding wheels close enough to resemble those gold morris mags.

Re: November 2011 Rex Smith Interview for German Website
Good to see that Rex is still doing what he loves tho. Yeah, promoting himself! Haha! Seems like the interviewer is very interested in Street Hawk. Rex appears to redirect the questions to his career in general. I kinda wish he would show more love to Street Hawk, like how Nathan Filian is always w...

Re: Round-Nose Series-Version Hero Bike in Miami
Thanks for the fantastic pics and update on the bike. Seeing it in the shape it's in reminds you how old this show is (and how old we are who watched it.)
Wish it wasn't all the way on the other side of the country from me. I'd love to see it in person!

Re: Rough Riders Street Hawk toy bike.
That is a nice toy! Would have loved something like that when I was younger, it's a shame Street Hawk toys were nonexistant where I lived. No eBay in 1986!
Thanks for sharing, that's a really neat piece of Street Hawk memorabilia!

Wow...
Incredible, that is awesome! I want it! I've always wanted a 1:18 scale Street Hawk, and that one you created is near perfect.
Now go make one just like the bike in the Pilot episode!

Wow, amazing incredible costumes! The Street Hawk costume would be cool, although I think a lot easier than the ones you've done already. Hardest part is getting the helmet right (a few nice replicas have been posted here by fellow board members)

Re: Hello from a newbie!
Welcome broken_turnip, thanks so much for sharing the memories and the memorabilia, I also saw items in there I had never seen before, quite a treasure trove! Too bad the Command Center playset or the MPC scale model weren't there; since seeing pictures of the advertisements for them posted here, I'...
