I watched Dog Eat Dog again and have some observations to share:

- The music video at the beginning of this show really dates this episode. A garish big hair and makeup production like that could only have been the brainchild of the 80's.

- Memorable bad guys: The hitman in this episode was a good character; cold, calculating, efficient.

- Gratuitous bike scene: when Debra Shane runs off, Jesse gets on Street Hawk and drives around looking for her while Hollywood Nights plays in the background. That's kind of like looking for a needle in a haystack, and by the next morning it's no surprise Jesse had not found her.

- Debra Shane (Daphne Ashbrook) wasn't bad looking, compared to some of the freaks we got in other episodes (Female of the Species anyone?). Though she looked kind of silly dressed like Madonna and trying to run in a miniskirt.

- A case of under-reacting: the evil record producer opens his garage door to see Street Hawk waiting in his garage, so he nonchalantly gets out of his car and says "What do you want?" Dude, if you open your garage door and see a stranger on a motorcycle waiting inside, get out of there!!!

- Things not to do: Debra checks to make sure her revolver is loaded while waiting in line to drive through security.

- Favorite scene: I love it when Jesse drives through the fake wall and nearly gives Norman a coronary.

- Cheesy Gimmick: The gunslinger showdown in the old western set always annoyed me as forced...all that was missing was some tumbleweeds and that typical western music ("Aaaa-eee-aaa-eee-aaa, waaahh-waaaahh-wuuuaaahhh")

I always found it annoying that whenver Street Hawk would be on Hyperthrust, he sits on the bike like it was going 10 MPH. He should really slouch over and act as if his life literally depended on his grip of the handle bars!

The worst thing about the hyperthrust is that he goes around bends!!!!! I can kind of use some suspension of disbelief to go along with the 300mph guy on a bike thing, but 200+mph around tight bends is just funny :)
