Any examples how well light comes through the plain translucent plastic?

Since the original helmets with lights appeared to be made of a clear plastic, I'd hate for the LED's to have a "frosted" look because of the plastics milky color.

I wonder if spray tint could be used on the visor? For those people that do not own the tinted version?

Hey Scott, I only tried tint spray once on a clear visor and the solvent destroyed the plastic, it basically cracked in half as it became brittle :shock: . The 3D prints are built up in layers so getting them clear as true to the prop helmet is not possible. And of course personally theroforming/ vacuuforming is the way to go... :lol: but my old machine is scarp now :cry:

Use the same tint on the visor, worked fine. I used a plastic primer first to give extra flex to the paint. Not the best but fine for display

Thanks, most the wiring is done,still waiting for a few bits but the micro switches are in

Red= Mic/Side Rail Light (Red)
Green= Cam Light (Green)
Yellow= Play Mp3 Sound File
