STREET HAWK RACE SUIT

Post by JON1482 » Mon Apr 05, 2010 12:31 pm

Hi everyone, as you know I'm making my own replica helmet, anyhow I found an old flameproof suit, (yes I know that sounds a bit odd!) I thought it would be a good idea to display the finished helmet on a manequin, that's if I can find one dirt cheap. I've done a very rough mock up and I would love your opinion on what colour the stripes should be. I know they look white, but there are many pics which you can see light reflecting off them so I thought silver.

Left arm, white Right arm, silver ?????

Many thanks, Jon.

I like the white as it's a sharper contrast to the black. :D

Hi all, well here he is, my own Jesse Mach! well we call him Burt!!?? The suit is a Police surplus fireproof riot suit, leather motorcycle gloves and a cheap set of boots off e-bay all topped off with my stunt helmet, (add ons still in production). Burt came from a fancy dress shop in Devon. I think the best thing about it is the fact that it scares the heck out of everyone that enters the room, even though they know its there

That has got to be one of the coolest Street Hawk items I have ever seen! Looks fantastic! It even makes up for the dorky Star Wars display, haha! (Like I'm one to talk; currently working on some display shelves for my GI Joe collection.)

Hi Pentastar hope you are well, I've given Jesse his own corner, I could'nt let him live with Star Wars  .
Behind him are a few bits that I've collected. The red mounted picture I think you've seen before , its a trio Airwolf, KITT and Street Hawk in the dessert, beneath that is some original Street Hawk comic book artwork from LOOK IN which was a UK kids magazine which I used to get in the 80's. There's also another couple of magazines framed to keep them intact.

As for getting him a bike streethawk.fan, well I've taken the plunge and bought a 1984 Honda XL. Once I've made some progress I'll start a new topic. Cheers, Jon.

would totaly look cool if you had him sitting on a bike but you will need alot of room for it.

ebay currently has alot of items that could help you make up the bike.but mostly you will have to customise yourself.

keep us all posted
