Actually I plan on riding my bike once in a while, and with one of my ghiblis, but I can't say that I plan on making whooshing sounds with my mouth...maybe laser sounds though...

On a serious note, I think the spaces behind the circular part of the air boxes can be used to accomodate larger tanks so maybe I'll be able to increase the range of the bike.

I've got a small plastic tank off an industrial whacker plate, it should be enough to get around for a bit, it's made by subaru!!??. Have'nt done much on my bike lately, been busy getting ready for a summer holiday. I have been stripping bits off and cleaning the forks and frame. The new wheels are spot on. One thing I know I wont find is the PM brake rotors, thanks to Seth I contacted the supplier but they dont make them anymore so I'll either have to have some made or opt for some brembo discs which are as close as I can find. It's going to be a labour of love but once I get started properly i'll post some pics. I keep dreaming of riding the bike wearing my lit up helmet, ( I'll keep taking the meds!! ).

Has anyone any idea what bike the windshield came off?? I'm guessing it was 'off the shelf' as it was already on the pilot bike when they started to build the body as were the wheels , PM rotors etc. I've been trawling through the internet and I've seen some that are pretty close. Any suggestions welcome.

There are two photos of the pilot bike being made. The second one shows the windscreen finished:

But the first one clearly shows the windshield sculpted in foam like the rest of the bike:

The odds of an off-the-shelf windscreen perfectly matching the shape of the upper nose is slim. If you find one thin enough, you may be able to flex it to fit--not sure. I expect to have to vaccuu-form mine.
