Andrew Probert, who designed the pilot bike, and Ron Cobb, who modified the design into the series-version bike, worked for a brief time together at Amblin Studios in the '80s. Here is a rare pic of them together from BTTF.com, who recently interviewed Ron Cobb.



Interestingly, Andrew made adjustments to Rob Cobb's designs for the Back to the Future Delorean after Ron left the project. In the case of Street Hawk, it was Ron that stepped in to revise an earlier design by Andrew.
