I emailed David Schwartz, Director of Acquisition at Fabulous Films, to see if they have a firm release date for the US yet. The CEO, Robert Starks, responded "July 2010."

So it looks like we on this side of the pond will have to wait a few months longer than those in the UK.

TVShowsOnDVD.com released an update:

Street Hawk will be released in the US on July 13th, 2010.

Special features include an all-new for DVD documentary including the original cast, and an alternate version of the telefilm/pilot with different weapons effects on the bike.

More details can be found at:

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Street ... ries/13444

It's not yet available for preorder on Amazon.com.

Thanks for the update. It sucks that we in the US have to wait four months longer than the Brits, but we've waited this long. I guess another four months won't kill us.

Wait. So technically speaking we are getting 14 episodes, not 13. Because the original pilot can be considered as a standalone episode... in some ways. :?:

There were 12 regular episodes and 1 pilot episode = 13 total.

It would have been nice to have one more, of course!
