Hi all,

I got a couple ideas bouncing around in my head. I know that is scary in itself.

But anyway. I also have a couple questions floating there to. So forgive me if this has been discussed at another time. I kind of scanned through things but, I wanted to ask before I forgot.

About what age do you think Jesse Mach is protrayed as?

What about Norman Tuttle?

Do you think they are about the same age? A little different?

How would Street Hawk work in this time frame?

I know I have my ideas about at least Jesse age. But I want different opinions. Norman I am debating. Again want someone elses take.

As for the whole Street Hawk thing. I am thinking I lived under a rock in the eighties. lol

The entire reason for the twenty questions, which I should have mentioned earlier is there is a fan fic trying really hard to torture me. And that I will blame on a fricking cycle harnass I am dying to attempt building. Now if things will just line up and fall in my lap.

I think Jesse is 23 and Norman is 35. I have no proof of that, but thats what I think.

I dont think SH would work in 2011. Jesse would be sacked for leaving work for no reason all the time. And the bad guys are really bad these days and would probably blow him away with an RPG that they bought off ebay
I'm amazed they got away with it for so long in any case, especially with the delivery guy watching Jesse shoot out of the maxi cola sign twice a day. Not to mention the fact that Sandy and Rachel have had a little chat with SH when he rescued them and they did'nt recognise the voice??!! But thats why we love it :D

I would agree with Jon on their ages.

Would it work today? Probably not, but I don't think it was realistic in the 80's either. It's sci-fi fantasy.

Interesting questions, thanks for asking!

Sorry it has taken me a while to reply back to this thread. I like the thoughts of the ages. My take on Norman – he’s older. I was thinking by three or four years. But while sitting here watching the shows. I see I was wrong. I would have to say going by interactions. It is kind of funny to see Norman appears to have lived under a rock too.

Well with 2011, I was thinking look at the technology we have now. Pagers, I assume for the most part a defunt, but we have cell phones. Which could be bad now that I think about that, then again.

Look what all they can put on into vehicles, so can you imagine what they can put into a motorcycle. I mean I realize you couldn’t trick it out like a Harley, or a Boss Hoss- which is a wickedly bad V-8. Love the trike and omg on the standard cycle, which is also a very bad V-8. But all that would be way too large and hard to maneuver.
Hmmm, okay good feedback guys. It makes me think.

Thanks Blujay

For the age question...

I think of Jesse as being a little older... 28-30. He has a little notoriety in the police dept. He lives in a beachfront house (actually Jesse's house in today's money is worth $millions - see my avatar) that he must have put money together to own. He shows a certain "experience" with ladies. Also, he explains the age that "most of us burn out" in dirt bike racing...

Norman - 34 to 36.

From the script, Jesse and Sandy are mid-twenties, Norman is mid-thirties, Corrido and Commissioner Miller are mid forties, and Altobelli is mid-fifties.
