Alright fellow streethawk fans

Have decided to make this a new topic.

Where to begin?

How about possibly the biggest undertaking of any streethawk fan.

A STREETHAWK CONVENTION,

I said i was going to make a start on having the first convention and having spent the last few weeks sending emails and replys to orginizers and orginisations we are finally on our way to making that dream a reality.

After weeks of emails to carsofthestars museum, one of my new contacts at the museum was glad to help and if i can manage to get the green light for the convention to run i can get a hold of a prop bike used in the tv serie's for the center stage.

I think this is a massive boost not just for my plans to host the conventions and use this information to give to orginizers but i think that having a bike at the convention will also give streethawk fans the chance to see the bike up close. possibly even sit on if i can persuade the museum that the bike will be safe.

will keep you all updated......

Wow, you've already made a lot more progress than I thought possible. Fantastic work so far.

Please keep us posted. I'm sure when you have something official and ready to publish, Josh could post it on the front page for you.

If it all works out, I expect you to fly out to Los Angeles and do it again so I can attend!

Good luck!

just got a email from universal studio's. i askes them if there was ever a streethawk convention of any type going to ever be done.

they said no but they have given me the green light to orginise an event myself if i choose and could use one of there event suite's at universal studio's theme park as a venue if i manage to get something orginised for state side.

I wanted to ask them as you never know what legal ramafication's there are but i have been given the ok.

Iam currently looking into originising the streethawk convention on my own just incase i can not get any convention orginiser's to give me an event.

With the contact's i am currently making i seem's better to go do this myself as i am being offered event space's of my own.

This in turn may cost me some money but i see a bigger picture and would give me something to be proud of and in the future i could say i started that.

Sounds like you are making progress. I have "sticky'd" this thread so it stays at the top of this forum.

Wow, sounds like you're making great progress. I'm sure you'll get lots of interest if it goes ahead!

I'll definitely attend - especially if I could sit on the bike!
