Hi all, well I tried....I've cast the helmet parts in clear resin, but they are really bad :( . Its fine for making paper weights but not SH helmets! So top tip dont use it! It also cannot be painted, bad reaction. Other resins would work fine but of course they are not clear so no lights. I may go back to vacuforming for the hero helmet and then make the stunt helmet parts from normal resin and paint them. More updates soon. Cheers, Jon.

Im going to an 80's themed fancy dress party on Saturday so I could'nt go as anyone other than the only true 80's hero! I've used the vacuform parts I made earlier this year, they are'nt brilliant but I'll be suprised if anyone comments on their screen accuracy! You can see my suit in the background and my wifes Princess Leia belt for her ESB costume ;)

So jealous, I love dressing up for Halloween, and going as Street Hawk would be awesome!
